The scientific method to smoothies

When I’m making smoothies (which is pretty much every morning right before I head to work), I use the very scientific method of “whatever is in the house!”

Lately, that’s been a mix of cranberries, peaches, and raspberries. 🙂

1 cup 100% cranberry juice
1 cup water
2 handfuls spinach (I need to get back to different greens, I’ve only been using spinach, and I know it’s good to rotate!)
1 tbsp hemp seeds
1 tbsp ground flax seeds (yay Omega-3s!)
3/4 cup frozen cranberries
3/4 cup frozen peaches

This one got rave reviews from Husband! A strong tartness to it, but the 100% cranberry juice actually helps cut it with just a hint of sweet, since it is sweetened with apple juice.
